Transitioning TasCAHRD - The new Strategic Plan

At the last meeting of the TasCAHRD Board a new Strategic Plan for 2011 through to 2014 was signed off. The plan has been developed after consultation with our client groups and other key stakeholders.  While not losing sight of our existing services we have broadened our scope for the future.  Apart from specific programs related to HIV and hepatitis C we will be looking to establish new services to sit along side and compliment these. We have commenced researching the possiblility of introducing some clinical services and LGBTI health is likely to be part of this model.  The LGBTI community are now identified as a key population, particularly in regard to health.  This will also complement the existing services provided by other services, such as Working it Out.

As we get closer to establishing new services we will be seeking feedback from the relevant stakeholders.

The basic outline of the new Strategic Plan is now accessible here.

A full version is currently being formated for print and will be available for download soon.
